22nd January 2010, FILM: Moon
Firstly, the poster for Moon is brilliant, enough to make me want to go see it alone. Also, the idea of a low-budget British sci-fi with nods to Bladerunner was enough bait for me too. The film, about a chap working alone on the moon with just a computer (played by Kevin Spacey) for company, who soon encounters weirdness galore, turned out pretty good too. Not a film that'll knock your socks off, certainly, but one that had enough ideas and good performances to keep things ticking over.
